People come to coaching with different histories, abilities, identities, relationships and challenges.
Over the years, Sharif has worked successfully with clients whose lives include experiences such as ADHD and neurodiversity, special needs, the effects of traumatic brain injury, LGBTQ+ identity and family dynamics, dating and relationships, health and fitness goals, major life transitions and other circumstances that can shape how someone builds confidence and moves forward.
Those experiences matter. But they don’t define the person.
The coaching remains centered on the individual:
- What does confidence look like for you?
- What are you trying to accomplish?
- What’s getting in the way?
- What kind of structure, support and accountability helps you succeed?
There isn’t one formula.
That’s the point.
An important distinction
Sharif is a certified life coach, not a physician, psychologist, therapist or other licensed mental-health professional.
LifeCoachATL does not diagnose or treat ADHD, traumatic brain injury, mental-health conditions, developmental disabilities or other medical or psychological conditions.
Coaching can instead focus on areas such as confidence, personal goals, habits, accountability, communication, relationships, decision-making and follow-through.
When medical or mental-health care is appropriate, coaching is not a substitute for that care and can exist alongside support from qualified licensed professionals.
